I spent most of Sunday stripping the body work off both bikes, cleaning them down and spraying them with some anti-corrosion stuff. The Ducati is currently sat under it's cover in the garage all hooked up to the Optimate, whilst the poor Zx7, isn't being let off so easily. I have always found it slightly disconcerting that after treating the bikes and running them for a few minutes at standstill, that the amount of smoke produced as the heat burns off any excess protection. Its really arid too and it stank and that was after doing it on the driveway on quite a windy day.
Well the Bike show started this weekend at the NEC in Brum and I'll be up there this Friday enjoying all things motorbike related. Hopefully I'll be able to get some nice photos which I'll incorporate into a review for the site. All this crappy weather is highlighting the awful condition of some vehicles that drive in London. There is so much oil being dumped onto the road I'm amazed more engines don't just seize, stranding the vehicles. The annoying thing is that if this causes an accident the driver will and could never be found, leaving the rider to pick up the pieces...literally.

MeMy name is Matt Brown and I'm a UK journalist formerly based in London, but now calling the South of England home. I've been riding bikes since 2007, but got hooked straight away. Nothing gives me the feeling of freedom, even when stuck in a city. In 2010 I became a RoSPA gold rider, but when it comes down to it, I'm Just a normal man, riding his bikes as often as he can.
