If riding to work this morning wasn't fun, then this afternoons ride was downright dangerous. A light covering of rain led to a morning of heavy showers, which when coupled with a road surface covered in oil and grease, it made for some seriously unpleasant conditions. A few drivers saw fit not to give me enough space, so a simple piece of single punctuation communication clearly expressed my feelings towards them, which made me feel a little better, even if not safer.
I paid the chaps at Metropolis yet another visit, this time to hopefully pick up my boots. Sadly they weren't there, but as I'm a sucker for half decent marketing, I bought two T shirts. I've got loads of the bloody things, but these have the word 'Ducati' on them, so they must be good.

I've got quite a busy weekend planned. I was going to pick up some track fairings, but the seller has emailed me saying that he's away, so I'll get them the next weekend. Sunday however is the first Goodwood Breakfast club meeting and anybody who has been to Goodwood before will know the place is pure heaven for Petrolheads and the Breakfast club meetings, which are held once a month through the summer, are like a mini Festival of Speed or Revival. Did I mention they're free to get into as well. I'm going to meet a few mates down there, so Sunday will be filled with great cars and bikes, great company and some great food. What's not to like?
