After a week containing, what can only be described as biblical rain, I needed to get out on the bike, however when I woke, I felt bloody awful. My choices were stay in the house feeling sorry for myself, or get a bike out and find a decent coffee shop. Pretty easy choice really. By the time I got to the Quay, I was already feeling better and two coffees and a croissant later I felt 1000 times better. Funny that. However, I get back to the bike to find that some flying rat and crapped all over it. Swings and roundabouts really. As its Bank Holiday weekend, Im going to get out on the bike on Monday too. The weather is looking very promising so should be a nice ride. Question is, yellow or black?

MeMy name is Matt Brown and I'm a UK journalist formerly based in London, but now calling the South of England home. I've been riding bikes since 2007, but got hooked straight away. Nothing gives me the feeling of freedom, even when stuck in a city. In 2010 I became a RoSPA gold rider, but when it comes down to it, I'm Just a normal man, riding his bikes as often as he can.
