Days like that are why I ride. I'm not hugely into the weekend riding as I get 'my fix' getting to and from work. This isn't to say I don't head out at the weekend, I do from time to time, but its not the anchor that my riding is built around. I've got to head to work, so why not make the most of it?
Despite having Kevin fix my FireBlade a few weeks back, its been the Ducati that has seen all the riding. The Blade needs some TLC, which includes new tyres (I've got a GT Angel in the garage which is going to go back on), chain and sprockets and a service. All in all, once thats done, the FireBlade should be ready to take me into and through 2018.
Once the weather turns, i'll start on the winter prep work on the Ducati, which will be mainly smartening the bike up a bit. New grips, nevers and if I feel the need, polishing the exhaust system up. We shall see.
