When the sun is out and you having the afternoon free everything seems right in the world, albeit for three of so hours. We decided to make a run up to OnYerBike, the Ducati dealer in Aylesbury, simply to have a look around and to be honest, I think we both wanted an excuse to ride on a bit further. Not only is Dom great company, but he's also a very good rider, not excessively quick, but very considerate and you can tell that when he rides he's just out there to enjoy himself. As a result, he's exceptionally easy to ride with. I hope I'm the same, but in all honesty, I can't really be the judge of that.
Earlier this week I managed to watch the film 'Road' which documents the Dunlop motorcycle dynasty from Joey and Robert, up to Michael and William up until 2012. Its very much in the same vein and TT Closer to the Edge and is informative and enjoyable with a good narrative track by Liam Neeson. The one stand out sequence for me was the very final helicopter tracking shot of Robert before, during and after his fatefull accident at the North West 200. Its both beautiful and horrific. I've put up a little review up in the Motorcycle Media section.
